The 2022 Show n Shine is in the Books
Well after a two year absence, I must say that the 2022 show was a magnificent comeback. An estimated 12 or 13 thousand people came to the park and enjoyed the 350 cars, trucks, and bikes that rolled the dice on the weather and it turned out to be a great event.
It is impossible to host Prince George's largest outdoor event without a long list of supporters. Our premier perennial sponsors came through big time so the first shout has to go to Northland Chrysler, Chieftain Auto Parts, and Western Financial. Please scroll down however and closely examine the sponsor logos as shown below. These 38 businesses dug deep and allowed us to put "goody bags" in every entrant's hands, present thirty participant awards, and give away thousands of dollars in door prizes. A very appreciative shout out to all of these sponsors.
So much planning and preparation goes on long before, and of course during the show, and the members of the Cruisin' Classics worked collectively with the City of Prince George and professional service providers to ensure the participants and the spectators were treated to a great day of automobilia, a selection of tasty food, enjoyable music, and a safe environment. A huge shout has to go to the Women and Men who proudly displayed the bright red Cruisin' Classics logo on Father's Day.
Finally, what would the show be without meticulously prepared vehicles, the owners who spent countless hours getting their rides ready to display, and the thousands of well behaved, appreciative, and knowledgeable citizens who came out more than ever in 2022 to show their appreciation. A special thanks to the people of Northern BC.
